In electroplating and precious-metal recovery, accurate determination of silver (Ag) and palladium (Pd) in silver plating bath solution is central to process optimization and critical to product quality control and efficient resource utilization. As electronic products become smaller and precious-metal resources increasingly scarce, even small variations in Ag and Pd concentrations can directly affect coating conductivity and corrosion resistance. Silver's high conductivity (resistivity: only 1.59 × 10^-8 Ω·m) makes it a preferred coating material for high-end electronic components. Insufficient silver increases coating resistance and reduces signal-transmission efficiency, while excessive impurities in palladium, a rare catalytic metal, can reduce catalytic activity or cause brittleness and cracking.
